# Deployment Guides for Tenable Scanners

LevelBlue BlueApp integrates USM Anywhere with a Tenable scanner you want to deploy in your environment. Generally, you must deploy at least one Tenable scanner, and then link it to your Tenable tenant using a Linking Key.

<Note>
  **IMPORTANT**: Only scans that are launched from USM Anywhere are ingested into USM. Scans that have been launched directly in Tenable will not automatically appear in USM.
</Note>

### Minimum network / firewall requirements

* Outbound TCP 443 from the scanner to the following:
  * [sensor.cloud.tenable.com](http://sensor.cloud.tenable.com)
  * [plugins.nessus.org](http://plugins.nessus.org)
* The scanner must be able to reach the scan targets on the ports / services that you intend to assess, including required auth ports for credential scans.

<Tip>
  See [Port Requirements](https://docs.tenable.com/nessus/Content/PortRequirements.htm) for a more information on network requirements.
</Tip>
